What Are You Willing To Give?
More often then not, we think about what we want to get.
GETTING a new car!
GETTING a new partner!
GETTING a new job!
GETTING my life together!
GETTING started on my project!
Why haven’t I got what I want to get! What GIVES.
Well, giving gets things got, so you have got to get, GIVING!
You must GIVE your time! to work hours to earn money.
You must GIVE all you got! to push yourself to do the unthinkable.
You must GIVE a damn! about getting what you want.
You must GIVE me! your bank details haha.
You must GIVE! and don’t GIVE up hope!
What is mine to GIVE?
Money?
Where did the cash come from?

Where did the paper come from?

Where did the trees and grass come from?
Are they yours to GIVE?

What IS MINE TO GIVE!
Time?
Time is yours?
Where were you when the earth’s foundation was laid?
Tell me, if you understand. Who marked off its dimensions? Surely you know! Who stretched a measuring line across it?
On what were its footings set, or who laid its cornerstone. Who shut up the sea behind doors when it burst forth from the womb?
So if time is truly yours, have you got the time to explain it to me?
TELL ME WHAT IS MINE TO GIVE!
Just give up.
The question isn’t what are you willing to give, but rather what are you willing to give up.
What good is it for someone to gain the whole world, yet forfeit their soul?
Giving up can mean a lot of things.
They gave up! hope and lost the game.
They gave up! wasting their time and put there heads down for once.
They gave up! asking questions and started looking for answers.
They gave up! reading this article because it became boring.
They gave up! what they had and in turn received more.

God GIVES us many talents and special abilities.
God GIVES us time that he created.
God GIVES us love that we don’t deserve.
God GIVES us the breath of air in our lungs.
God GIVES us the desires of our hearts.
Well if everything is given by God what can we give to God?
A long time ago God asked the soon to be King Solomon to build him a temple for him. A chance to GIVE back as both Kings were very blessed by God, King David was Solomon’s father and current king at the time.
King David told the crowd:
God chose my son Solomon to build the temple, but Solomon is young and has no experience. This is not just any building — this is the temple for the Lord God! That’s why I have done my best to get everything Solomon will need to build it — gold, silver, bronze, iron, wood, onyx, turquoise, colored gems, all kinds of precious stones, and marble. Besides doing all that, I have promised to give part of my own gold and silver as a way of showing my love for God’s temple. Now, who else will show their dedication to the Lord by giving gifts for building his temple? After David finished speaking, the family leaders, the tribal leaders, the army commanders, and the government officials voluntarily gave gifts for the temple. David and the people were very happy that so much had been given to the Lord, and they all celebrated.
But shortly after while David was praising God in front of the crowd he realized that: Yours, Lord, is the kingdom;
you are exalted as head over all.
Wealth and honor come from you; you are the ruler of all things. In your hands are strength and power to exalt and give strength to all. Now, our God, we give you thanks and praise your glorious name.
“But who am I, and who are my people, that we should be able to GIVE as generously as this? Everything comes from you, and we have GIVEN you only what comes from your hand. We are foreigners and strangers in your sight, as were all our ancestors. Our days on earth are like a shadow, without hope. Lord our God, all this abundance that we have provided for building you a temple for your Holy Name comes from your hand, and all of it belongs to you. I know, my God, that you test the heart and are pleased with integrity.
Its time for us to GIVE up our lives which were never really ours to give up, and give out what God has GAVE us!
Any of you who try to save the life you have will lose it. But you who GIVE up your life for me will find true life.
If you want to save your life, you will destroy it. But if you GIVE up your life for me, you will find it.
We can GIVE what God has GIVEN us to GIVE.
This can be your talents, your caring nature, your wealth even your time.
Every good thing GIVEN and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shifting shadow.
“Ask, and it will be GIVEN to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you.
When we have GIVEN UP what is stopping us to GIVE then we can truly start to live our best life. This mentality applies to the non-believer and the believer alike.
I now would know like to GIVE thanks to the lord, “He scattered abroad, he gave to the poor, His righteousness endures forever.”
