Are we ever justified to judge?

One thing that always grinds my gears without fail is being judged solely on one occasion. You even been injured and have to take it lightly at the gym only to think that people around you may be judging you thinking you're a weak bastard? People can shape a story in one moment, from zero to hero from champion to chastised.

Have you ever taken the bins out for a month successfully only to forget one week, and all your good deeds disappear when a person says “ You never do the bins!”

But it's not the truth! You do the bins but did you do the bins then? no? you didn't so do you really do the bins? Do you even bin?

I've bin thinking and I wonder how anyone can justify this, it's not even about justifying your judgment, it is about having some real concrete truth to display.

From Treasure To Trash From Trash To Treasure

One of my favourite UFC fighters to ever grace the octagon was, Daniel Cormier he to was once subjected to this situational-judgment. (So did Tony Ferguson but we haven't got all day) In a stellar victory against the current Heavy Weight champion Stipe Miocic, DC dispatched him quickly via KO to collect two belts as he was coming up from light heavyweight which he was the current champion of, they call this CHAMP-CHAMP pretty self-explanatory, you win two belts.

Daniel was on top of the world, he had reached almost the highest prestige you could attain and fans and media were discussing amongst themselves, is Daniel Cormier the greatest heavyweight fighter of all time? As a big fan of DC, this then had me thinking immediately it's time to retire while you are on top and that is what you will be remembered as.

Unfortunately like a lot of things in life things didn't go to plan, and being the nice guy he is, he allowed Stipe to have a rematch which ended up being a trilogy in which he suffered two losses. He then was thrown out of the conversation and people came to the real conclusion, which was the truth, that Stipe had always been the greatest heavyweight of all time, it just wasn’t his night when they first meet. It is a common thing to get unlucky and get caught in a fight even in the highest level of warfare.

Where does that leave Daniel? how then do we define him? All we can do is aim to give our best account of him via what we know but couldn't the best definition come from the person themselves? If Daniel never believed he could be defined as a champion he never would have become one in the first place. We have heard it all before, it is what we think about ourselves that really matters, sure don't tell someone to shut up when they give you praise, but also don't follow the rabbit hole of misinformation that is deemed to define you, from an untruthful opinion. Dont let them take your power don't take it too personally but, take on board negative judgment if it, in fact, does come from a truthful place, leading to positive self-development.

Imperfect people looking for perfection

All UFC fighters want a fairy tale ending, especially Daniel Cormier he wanted to finish on a win and ride off into the sunset but “when man makes plans god laughs.” How can a human that is flawed from birth ever be able to do anything perfectly, and if they manage to, imperfections will seep into other parts of there life.

Pick your perfection

Sure you could finish your career like George Saint Pierre, walk away at the right time finish, perfectly, BUT what else suffered imperfection because of this pursuit? Did George like many other fighters miss time or have time away from there family due to there training/fighting commitments? Is there health where they would like it to be physically and mentally? Do they feel whole now moving onto a life without their passion being there main purpose? Can you see here that in life where there is balance other things can be off-balanced by perfect balance? It's like a wakeboarder riding perfectly balanced on a day where the water is as smooth as glass, only for a big boat to create chop from its wake offsetting the boarder's balance forcing them to improvise.

To Improvise we must realise that our lives and the things in it are subject to change

The only consistent and constant thing in life is everything is always changing. However, this is only in the world that is seen and perceived, by the other things that can change like our eyes or what we hear with our ears or speak with our mouths even our mind how we think is subject to change. A little slice of philosophical debate and a realisation I just had while writing this is if we believe that our thoughts aren't really in our minds but in our spirits ( this normally makes sense as people keep thinking in an OBE Out of Body Experience) and if I am saying what is unseeable is not changeable why can our thoughts change? But I feel like its because our spirit is half in, and half out. One foot of the spirit is in the physical changeable world and the other foot is in the eternal unseeable world. This must be why (and I'm only talking to myself here) when we say “that goes against my spirit or my nature” that means there are permanent unchangeable things within us that come from the spiritual realm not from the changeable world that then enter our thoughts otherwise if these things came from our thoughts they could change, the spirit takes control of the changeable and adds permanent answers, to let's say moral dilemmas or how we feel about certain things that our changeable thoughts can not go against. It is literally like an overriding of a program from a remote hacker cause even the mind riddled with indecisiveness will always stick to this unchangeable code which they don't know where it came from but really it came from God it came from the place we left to enter here, the testing ground we have our feet on, but our hearts hope to hover to heaven, and if these things make us better human beings then our best tools come from a world we cannot even see/dream of yet but we have been there it is always in our midst we must strive to tap into this, we are spiritual beings having a human experience we are Gods action figures waiting to be cast in a lead role or a role at all.

So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen since what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.

I'm trying to understand this

The reason why I believe there is some truth to what I said comes from my experience with God, My love for life always varies and to be brutally honest I am ready to leave earth at any time, I have always believed 50 Cent from the moment I heard him, “Deaths gotta be easy cause life is hard” I believe that death is the ultimate resting place, it is the goal for all of us, a quote I made many years ago “Life is a question death is its answer, so in death, I will be its definite master” But why does my perception on life change but not on God? My thoughts on life can change cause life changes, my thoughts on God can never change cause God never changes.

Perfection

So if we are always changing and God always stays the same and if he loves us how are we not perfect? The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases; his mercies never come to an end.

But it's not that we are perfect we are made perfect through gods love, for to be perfect is to be sinless and we take that on when we believe that Christ died on the cross for our sins. Here are some examples from the bible about God and not changing.

God is not man, that he should lie, or a son of man, that he should change his mind. See here we have a God who has absolutely no attachment to the physical and how could he lie if he tells the truth if he can't change his mind or change the traits he possesses.

The grass withers, the flower fades, but the word of our God will stand forever. Here we have the seeable changing and dying and we have the unchangeable staying and standing the same forever. Cause believe in these words or not they have not changed. They are still here you can still hear them you can still see them, their meanings transcend the ever changeable seeable things as they are timeless words, timelessness can not be measured it can't be changed, time can.

This proves that God is love and love like God, is powerful.

I love my family no matter what I love my Dog no matter what and this will never change, but hang on cant they change? There seeable? Cant then your love change or your thoughts about them?

LOVE IS UNSEEABLE

Of course, they can change and my thoughts might change about them but I will still love them, and that is a unchangeable thought in my mind which really if you have been listening or comprehending my hard to understand text, it is really a whisper into the physical from the non-physical what does this remind you of? God. Love has the power to override our thoughts just like God and the spiritual realm so if God is the only thing that never changes then he must be love. If we can love then we are made in his image, when we love we look like God and he wants us to show ourselves to others that don't know God to show them what he is like.

I have only literally just realised this I had heard God is Love and never really got it but I feel like I am closer now to understanding. That's what's amazing about tapping into the unseeable I am just Luke writing a page of words but God helps me create these connections and throws the verses at me and I catch them and I incorporate them I am meant to be teaching my readers but he is teaching me, while I type he gives me the ideas and explains them to me as I go which then helps readers understand, its all very confusing but very amazing.

Love never fails. But where there are prophecies, they will cease; where there are tongues, they will be stilled; where there is knowledge, it will pass away. For we know in part and we prophesy in part, but when perfection comes, the imperfect disappears. Apart from Love everything mentioned here is seeable and temporary and can change when Love comes its perfection makes the imperfect disappear just like how we can accept all the ones we love with there flaws and all because love conquers all and makes things that would make it hard to love someone disappear it overrides them and makes them more bearable this truly is amazing. This can be seen even in extreme circumstances love can keep a child loving a parent who abused them which to someone else seems unfathomable, just like how God can love one of his children who has gone badly astray and done unspeakable acts he still loves them, even if they don't feel they deserve it.

“Now we see but a poor reflection as in a mirror”

Before I spoke of how we are made in gods image and we can see that when we love or more so people can see that in us, here what I think Paul is saying is that we can get a glimpse of seeing God just by loving, sure it is limited as we are not fully realising it but it's like looking into a broken mirror and just glimpsing God

“Then we shall see face to face.”

Here the spirit of the person meets God, love meets love, presumably in death.

“Now I know in part”

Paul here is saying he knows part of what it means to know God because he has already seen a slight reflection in his life through the love he has shown.

“Then I shall know fully”

I believe this is in death when paul really meets face to face he means in heaven.

“Even as I am fully known.”

I'm spitballing with all of this but I presume this is Paul explaining his enlightenment, cause he knows every part to every step he knows what it is like to be like God and what it might be like to meet God he knows he will meet God and God will make all things known to him, he means he is fully known cause he fully knows what will happen but still has to know cause God has to let him know fully what is unknown to him. It's like he has read the book but is yet to watch the movie and how the movie makes you feel is different to the book, so he knows he will meet God and God will make him know all things fully but he does not know, how that will be until he experiences it. *inhale* Dont know why I tried to explain that or in that way.

“If I speak in the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal. If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but have not love, I am nothing. If I give all I possess to the poor and surrender my body to the flames, but have not love, I gain nothing.”

If we haven’t got Love we have nothing just like if we do not have God. Something that we can have or something we can be can be changed like we said before it is seeable so then it is changeable.

I believe therefore it matters not what we are or will be or have been but what we are to God which will always be the same. We should be of course kind to ourselves in the way we use self-judgment but ultimately God’s Grace is all we need.

So whether you get a belt your still a champion to Christ, even if you lose your belt your still a champion to Christ. Because to Jesus, it makes no difference the titles or your position it matters only what position God plays in your life is he the quarterback the wide receiver? the full-back? the forward? If you make God the captain of your life you will taste many victories.

For everyone born of God overcomes the world. This is the victory that has overcome the world, even our faith. For the LORD your God is the one who goes with you to fight for you against your enemies to give you victory.”
